克里斯·汤姆林
克里斯托弗·德韦恩·汤姆林（英語：Christopher Dwayne Tomlin，1972年5月4日—），出生于美国德克萨斯州Grand Saline，是一名当代基督教音乐流派的歌手。他曾是奥斯丁Stone Community Church的一名工作人员，主持过许多基督教礼拜活动。他知名的歌曲有How Great Is Our God、Jesus Messiah和Amazing Grace等。他曾获得2006年、2007年、2008年的圣鸽奖（GMA Dove Awards）最佳男歌手的称号。现在他在佐治亚州亚特兰大的Passion City Church担任领衔礼拜者。

早年生活 编辑
克里斯·汤姆林1972年出生于德克萨斯州的Grand Saline。他有两个个弟弟，莱恩(Ryan)和科里(Cory)。他11岁曾感染传染性单核白血球增多症[1]。之后他从他父亲那里得到了他的第一把吉他。14岁时谱写了他的第一首基督教音乐。进入得克萨斯农工大学后，他本来计划修读医疗专业，不过最后他选择从事基督教音乐事业，因为他声称“他感到了上帝在感召他去做另一些事”。
在20世纪90年代中期，他成为了Dawson McAllister Youth Conferences的礼拜领袖，同时也在德克萨斯州的许多教堂的夏令营里工作。
在进入泰勒学校（Tyler Junior College）和得克萨斯农工大学以后，他继续演奏并写作歌曲。在1997年，青年演讲家Louie Giglio询问他是否对在Passion Conferences工作有兴趣，他同意并在该组织扮演了关键角色。
