眾神花園龍屬
眾神花園龍屬（學名：Theiophytalia）又譯神園龍，是鳥腳下目禽龍類恐龍的一屬，是種植食性恐龍。化石發現於美國科羅拉多州，地質年代約1億1200萬年前，相當於白堊紀早期的阿普第階到阿爾比階交界[1][2]。

發現與命名 编辑
正模標本（編號YPM 1887）是一個部分頭顱骨，也是目前的唯一化石，是在1878年發現於科羅拉多州科羅拉多泉市附近的上帝花園（Garden of the Gods）。在1886年，奧塞內爾·查利斯·馬什將這個頭顱骨建立為彎龍的一個種（Camptosaurus amplus）。之後1909年，查爾斯·懷特尼·吉爾摩爾（Charles W. Gilmore）也認為這個頭顱骨是彎龍的一個種，吉爾摩爾在建立彎龍的重建模型時，頭部是參考這個頭顱骨；因為彎龍的化石也是發現於莫里遜組[3]。根據近年的地層比較研究，這個頭顱骨的發現處，其實是珀加圖瓦爾組（Purgatoire Formation）的Lytle段，地質年代是更晚的白堊紀早期。
在2006年，肯尼思·卡彭特（Kenneth Carpenter）等人詳細研究彎龍的化石，發現這個頭顱骨有許多不同於彎龍的特徵，頭顱骨較長、較粗壯，上頜骨的背突較寬、眶前孔相對較小，方骨外形較鈍，下頜關節呈球根狀。在同份研究中，肯尼思·卡彭特等人將這個頭顱骨建立為新屬，模式種是克爾眾神花園龍（Theiophytalia kerri）。屬名在古希臘文意為「上帝的花園」，是將化石發現處的古希臘文譯名；種名則是以發現化石的James Hutchinson Kerr為名[2]。

肯尼思·卡彭特等人在命名時，認為眾神花園龍的演化位置介於彎龍、禽龍之間[2]。 在2010年、2011年的兩個研究，發現眾神花園龍屬於禽龍類內部的硬棘龍類（Styracosterna）演化支，位在硬棘龍類演化支的原始位置，是馬龍（Hippodraco）的近親[4][5]。
