English: This animation, displaying a top-down x-ray view of a cylinder breech type of Kalthoff repeater, shows how the breech is loaded with powder and ball by the rotation of the trigger guard. The hatches and covers are colored red, the balls light green, the loading arm blue, the fore-stock yellow, the barrel and rear breech grey, the powder passage lighter grey, and the cylinder breech and trigger guard are black.
