Notes to Speakers and Vendors in Seminar/Showcase

1. Please do not have bias towards products of any particular brand name.
2. Please do not promote brand names or products.
3. Please be objective and focus on the strength and opportunities of the technology and solutions. Avoid words with marketing intent.
4. Please do not show any products other than those agreed with OGCIO.
5. Please avoid technical jargons in the presentations and be in layman tone. It would be desirable if the contents of presentation are in Government's perspective.
6. Speakers have to keep the time duration of the presentation session.
7. Please submit presentation slides to OGCIO in advance for preview and to upload to our intranet for dissemination to audience.
8. Pamphlets and other literature to be shown or disseminated in the showcase should be directly relevant to the technology and solutions shown in the showcase. Please submit them to OGCIO in advance for preview.
9. Name cards should only be provided to visitors upon request.
10. Speakers and vendors should arrange their own transportation for traveling to and from the venue as well as for moving in and out.
11. Speakers are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the presentation session starts.
12. Please raise request in advance if staff from other companies are not preferable to sit in the seminar.
13. Photo taking is allowed only from the staff of the speakers' company during the seminar. Please do not take photos during other speakers' talk.
14. No souvenir or price list should be distributed to visitors, except the demonstration or evaluation kits. No sales of any goods or services are allowed.
15. Participation in OGCIO seminars/showcases will not relate to any privilege or pre-qualification for subsequent acquisition of goods and services by the government.
