密歇根-休伦湖

密歇根-休伦湖(英語:Lake Michigan–Huron),或称为休伦-密歇根湖(英語:Lake Huron–Michigan),是指北美洲五大湖密歇根湖休伦湖共同组成的水域,其间由5英里(合8千米)宽、20英寻(合37米)深的麦基诺水道相连。 [3][4]麦基诺水道使密歇根湖与休伦湖保持着相等的水平面。尽管麦基诺水道的流向一般为自西向东,但根据当地水文条件的变化,其流向有时也会改变。从水文学的角度而言,这意味着密歇根湖与休伦湖应属于同一个水体,成为一个单一的湖泊,即密歇根-休伦湖。[5][6][7]
