工黨全國執行委員會

全国执行委员会（英語：National Executive Committee；簡稱：NEC）是英国工党的主要行政机构。多年来它的组成发生了变化，包括附属工会（英语：Labour Party (UK) affiliated trade union）、国会工党和欧洲议会工党（英语：European Parliamentary Labour Party）的代表、选区工党（英语：constituency Labour parties）、社会主义社会以及当然成员，如党领袖和副领袖及其若干被任命者。
在1980年代，执委会（NEC）在决策中发挥了重要作用，并且常常是对政党政策争议的核心。在托尼·布莱尔时代，执委会的作用下降，成员被改革，但它仍然是党的行政机构。其以前的政策发展职能现在主要由全国政策论坛执行。他的一个下属委员会具有惩罚性的权力，包括开除党员的党籍使其蒙羞或重新恢复被开除党员的党籍的能力。

该委员会的主席由NEC从其成员中选举产生，任期为一年，主持NEC会议和全国年会。
这个职位的名称自2001年工党领导人布莱尔任命查尔斯·克拉克为“党主席”的荣誉职位以来变得混乱，这样的做法没有NEC或全国大会授权。[10]这个职位的名称在“工党党章（英语：Labour Party Rule Book）”中仍然是“党的主席”，但在其他地方，该党介绍时成为“执委会主席”。[11] 2001年之前，这个职位被称为“Chair of the Labour Party”，之前是“Chairman of the Labour Party”。
