布莱恩·J·史密斯
布莱恩·雅各布·史密斯（英語：Brian Jacob Smith，1981年10月12日—）是一名美國男演員。2010年在军事科幻电视连续剧《星际之门：宇宙》[1]和Netflix网络电视连续剧《超感八人组》中出演主要角色，于2014年获得美国托尼奖最佳话剧男配角提名。

早期生活和教育状况 编辑
史密斯是美国得克萨斯州科林县人[1]。在1980年代保守的德州鄉下長大時，因為隱藏的同性戀性向，必須隨時注意自己的言行，而感到很大的壓力和孤獨，於是他投身於戲劇，當人們專注於他在台上的演出，他就找到了歸屬感[2]。他在位于得克萨斯州普莱诺的科林学院学习戏剧课程。2003年，史密斯在纽约市的茱莉亚戏剧学院就读学制四年的表演专业[3]，其中一个同学是妮可儿·贝海尔[4]。2007年，史密斯获得了茱莉亚戏剧学院艺术学学士学位。他在30歲時向家人出櫃並得到家人的支持，發覺世界沒有那麼可怕，而對自己更有自信[2]。

2005年，史密斯在美国独立电影《Hate Crime》中饰演Trey，一名受到原教旨主义传教士的儿子偏见的同性恋者。他还出演了两部于2009年上映的独立电影，剧情片《The War Boys》（饰演George）和恐怖片《Red Hook》（饰演Chappy）。2008年，他在纽约百老汇剧院的戏剧《Come Back, Little Sheba》中饰演Turk[1][5]。2009年到2011年，史密斯在科幻电视连续剧《星际之门：宇宙》第1季和第2季中饰演主要角色Matthew Scott。
2011年，他在电视剧《绯闻女孩》第5季中饰演Max Harding，在游戏改编电视电影《Red Faction: Origins》中饰演Jake Mason。2012年4月到7月，他在百老汇戏剧《The Columnist》中饰演Andrei。此后，他还客串出演了数部电视剧，包括《第十三号仓库》、《Coma》、《傲骨贤妻》、《疑犯追踪》、《警察世家》、《抗争》、《记忆神探》等。
