鶲科林鴝屬下唯一一種鳥類

橙胸林鸲（台湾作林鴝，学名：Stiphrornis erythrothorax），是雀形目鹟科的一种鸟类，属于单型的橙胸林鸲属（学名：Stiphrornis）。[2]

橙胸林鸲体重约15.6克，翼长约63.9毫米，喙宽度约3.5毫米，喙厚度约3.7毫米，嘴峰长约14.3毫米，跗蹠长约22.4毫米，尾长约34.3毫米。
橙胸林鸲是留鸟，栖息在森林，它们是食肉动物，主要以昆虫、蜘蛛等陆生无脊椎动物为食。[3][4]
