第35届奥斯卡金像奖

第35届学院奖颁奖典礼于1963年4月8日在美国加利福尼亚州洛杉矶县圣莫尼卡的市政礼堂（英语：Santa Monica Civic Auditorium）举行，知名歌手、演员弗兰克·辛纳特拉担任主持人。不过他之前因为忘记了停车贴纸而差点错过了晚会，停车场的警卫拒绝他进入。于是他只好将车停到别处再跑去主持，幾乎遲到[1]。

琼·克劳馥得知自己没有获得提名而贝蒂·戴维斯获得了之后非常愤怒（两人共同主演了恐怖片《姐妹情仇（英语：What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962 film)）》又译《兰闺惊变》）。她联系了其他各女主角奖提名人看谁有事未能出席，并提出要是对方获胜自己可以代其领次。最后当安妮·班克劳夫特因《海倫凱勒（英语：The Miracle Worker (1962 film)）》而获奖时，克劳馥得意洋洋地经过戴维斯身边，冲上舞台拿起了小金人[2]。对此戴维斯之后表示：“要是我赢了，我们的电影至少可以再入账超过100万美元。但琼（却）非常高兴我输了[3]。”

截止第85届学院奖止，《叛舰喋血记》是唯一一部在前作已经获得最佳影片奖的情况下仍然获得这一奖项提名的重拍片。
