美国汽车公司
美国汽车公司（American Motors Corporation，缩写：AMC）是1954年5月1日哈德遜汽車同納許·凱文納特公司（Nash-Kelvinator Corporation）合併而成的一家美國汽車公司，這在當時是美國歷史上最大的一筆公司合併案[3]。雖然如此，當時的美國汽車市場是由底特律的三巨頭（即通用汽車、福特汽車和克萊斯勒）統治的，美國汽車公司的成立因此被視為以小博大[4][5]。

它曾生產過悍馬、吉普和AMC系列汽車，取得了一定的成功。1987年3月9日，克萊斯勒宣佈將以15億美元（2022的$3,863,796,134[6]）的價格收購該公司，美国汽车公司被收購後在1988年8月25日改名為“Jeep-Eagle”[7]，1990年3月29日被克萊斯勒完全吞併。[1]
