裝甲船菊石
裝甲船菊石（學名：Hoploscaphites）是生存在晚白堊紀海洋中的一屬菊石。其化石被發現於北美、歐洲、中亞和南極洲等地。[1]

特徵 编辑
像船菊石一樣，裝甲船菊石外殼的起始部份是緊密的螺旋，末端向前突出並向舊有部份彎曲。最後的螺旋殼體從壓縮到膨脹間有凸面變化。殼體的結節通常稀疏或不存在。
