阿尔维塞·卡达莫斯托
阿尔维塞·卡达莫斯托（葡萄牙語：Alvise Cadamosto，1432年—1483年），文艺复兴时期欧洲威尼斯航海家和探险家。[1]他曾效力于葡萄牙王国，为其在非洲西海岸区域进行探险活动。[2]他的航海报告发表于1507年。[3]

阿尔维斯出生在威尼斯大运河上的卡达莫斯托宫殿，他的名字就来源于此。他的父亲是威尼斯公务员和商人乔瓦尼·达·莫斯托，母亲伊丽莎白·奎里尼，来自威尼斯的一个主要贵族家庭。阿尔维斯是三个儿子中的长子，还有弟弟皮埃特罗和安东尼奥。
从1442年到1448年，阿尔维塞作为他表弟安德里亚·巴尔巴里戈的商业代理人，乘坐威尼斯帆船多次前往巴巴里海岸和克里特岛。1451年，他被任命为前往亚历山大的一艘帆船上的弩兵海军团的贵族军官。第二年，他在前往佛兰德的威尼斯帆船上担任同一职务。回国后，他发现自己的家庭被剥夺了名誉和财产。他的父亲陷入了贿赂丑闻，被驱逐出威尼斯，并在摩德纳公国避难。这一挫折损害了卡达莫斯托未来在威尼斯的事业前景，可能也鼓励了他的冒险精神，希望通过自己的伟大壮举来恢复他的家族姓氏和财富。
