历史编辑
公司成立于1991年[2]，创始者为电影制片人Bernd Eichinger, Arnon Milchan, 和 Andrew G. Vajna。最初公司只负责经营在美国以外的影片销售业务[2]。后来于1995年发展成合资制片公司，1997年成为全资公司[2]。
2008年，该公司以2.265亿美元的发行票房位列电影公司的第八位，这主要得益于发行了《暮光之城》[3]。2009年以4.825亿美元位列第七名[4]。
2012年獅門影業宣布買下頂峰娛樂。
