饰胸鹬体重约62.1克，翼长约128.4毫米，嘴峰长约22.6毫米，喙宽度约2.8毫米，喙厚度约3.6毫米，跗蹠长约29.2毫米，尾长约55.3毫米。饰胸鹬是候鸟，其栖息在开放的草原环境中，食性为肉食性。[3]
分布 编辑
繁殖于北美洲的北极地区；在南美洲南部越冬。[4]
