1996年，乔治城大学旗下讽刺杂志《The Gonzo》出版了一副猫的图片，下边附有文字：“事实：每当你手淫，上帝都会杀死一只小猫。还要死多少猫？”（Fact: Every Time You Masturbate, God Kills a Kitten. How Many More Have to Die?）[3][4]。
