Deutsch: Wappen der Gemeinde Zell am See, Salzburg (Austria). Blasonierung: „Im schwarzen Schild auf naturfarbenem Boden die Gestalt des Kirchenpatrons von Zell am See St. Hippolytus, und zwar eines rechtsgewendeten nimbierten, geharnischten Ritters mit roter, hermelingestulpter Kappe und über die linke Schulter geworfenem und in weiten Falten bis zum Boden herabhängendem Roten Mantel. In der Rechten hält der Ritter die weiße Kreuzesfahne mit einem roten Kreuz und in der Linken, die auch den Mantel hält, ein an die Schulter gelehntes Schwert.“
English: Coat-of-arms of the municipality Zell am See, Salzburg (Austria). Blazoning of arms: “Sable, on a base proper (Vert) a representation of the patron-saint of Zell am See, Saint Hippolytus, that is a knight facing dexter, armed at all points, nimbed Or, wearing a cap Gules with a cuff Ermine and bearing over his sinister shoulder a coat Gules, in his dexter arm holding a guidon Argent a cross Gules, in his sinister arm, that is also supporting the coat, a sword leaned against his shoulder.”
