English: This occultation of Mars was captured by Amateur Astronomer Praveen Suryavanshi from Hyderabad, India using his 104mm Refractor Telescope on GoTo mount. Mars slipped under the unlit limb of the moon, disappearing behind Earth’s satellite for approximately 30 minutes, before reappearing from under the lit crescent portion of the moon.
