This audio file is a brief portion of a musical number performed in the film Tender Mercies. There is a fair use rationale for this clip because it adds significantly to the article about the film. Specifically, it provides an audio presentation of Duvall's singing voice, which cannot be adequately explained in text. Robert Duvall insisted on performing his own vocals during the film's songs, a fact which is a major part of the Tender Mercies article, for which an audio clip is necessary.
