This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopaedic content.

Using the correct template

The template is designed as a one line replacement for Template:River bridge start and Template:River item line. It should also make the following redundant: Template:River island start, Template:River bridge start, Template:River bridge line, Template:River item line X.

Extended table

It is possible to generate a block of these templates using the option |table =. The first call uses |table = start; the middle ones |table = middle; and the final one |table = end. Beware: the alignment in the third column can be disrupted unless the templates are linked together with a comment e.g. <!-- --> - See examples.

River junction

Where there is a river junction upstream the options |upstream2 = and |upsub2 = can be used. See examples.
