（疑似）中国大陆的IP使用Libera Chat需要账号

我今天打开Wikipedia:IRC聊天频道中的wikipedia-zh-help频道，结果不能进入频道，提示：

Closing Link: （我的IP） (SASL authentication to a NickServ account with a verified email address is required to connect from your current network. Please see https://libera.chat/guides/sasl for configuration assistance.)

GUT412454和Shinohara Chihiro 理論上使用 VPN 都可能需要先註冊帳號。而 Libera Chat 的頁面指出了為何會受限「SASL access only restrictions are typically applied to address ranges that are the source of frequent policy violations due to providing easy access to dynamic addresses to a wide range of users. 没有使用VPN，就是直连的web.libera.chat，Closing Link: 后面就是我的真实IP。用了VPN反而不用注册了。我觉得是Libera觉得中国IP的滥用风险很高。😅--Shinohara Chihiro（留言） 2023年2月12日 (日) 13:24 (UTC)
