凯迪拉克爵士安托万·德·拉·莫特

凯迪拉克爵士安托万·德·拉·莫特（法语：Antoine de la Mothe, sieur de Cadillac，法语的 sieur 即英语中的 sir，1658年3月5日－1730年10月16日），原名安托万·卢梅（Antoine Laumet），是法国新法兰西地区（该地区从加拿大东部一直延伸到法属路易斯安那的墨西哥湾）的探险家。他出生于法国西南加斯科涅的小城圣尼古拉-德拉格拉沃，父亲是一名律师，母亲是地主的女儿。他原本被父辈要求担任公职，但是在他25岁的时候选择了离开法国到新大陆寻找机会。1683年，拉·莫特到达了在阿卡迪亚，之后成为了一名探险家、捕猎者以及酒品和毛皮贸易商，在殖民地担任了各种具有重要政治意义的职位。1694年，他是密歇根州圣伊尼亚斯的布阿德堡（Fort de Buade）的指挥官。1701年，他建立了庞恰特雷恩德底特律堡，这一城堡后来发展成为了底特律市。在1710年之前，他一直是该堡垒的指挥官。在1710年至1716年间，他是法属路易斯安那的总督，尽管他直到1713年才到达该地区[1]。
