两性异形 编辑
滑鳖属下的生物有明显的两性异形现象。雌性的背壳长度可达雄性的两倍。雄性的前爪比后爪长，雌性反之。雄性尾巴短粗，超过背壳边缘，雌性反之。[3]
习性 编辑
滑鳖属下的生物游泳速度很快，一般在水下觅食鱼类。会在沙地产卵。
