唐·布魯斯
美國動畫師
唐納德·維吉爾·布魯斯（Donald Virgil Bluth；1937年9月13日—） [2]是一名美國電影導演，也是動畫、美工和遊戲設計師，早年為迪士尼工作，從迪士尼出走後，開始與迪士尼競爭，形成迪士尼文藝復興。

布魯斯出生於埃爾帕索，是Emaline (原姓Pratt) 和維吉爾·布魯斯（Virgil Ronceal Bluth）的兒子[3]。他的曾祖父是耶穌基督後期聖徒教會的早期領袖赫拉曼·普拉特。他有瑞典、英國、愛爾蘭、蘇格蘭和德國血統。 [4]
小時候他就喜歡騎着馬到鎮上的電影院看迪士尼電影。布魯斯後來說，「然後我會回家並抄下我能找到的每一本迪士尼漫畫書」[5]。六歲時，全家搬到了猶他州佩森[6]，1954年搬到加利福尼亞州的聖莫尼卡[7]。布魯斯曾在猶他州楊百翰大學就讀一年。1955年，他被華特迪士尼動畫工作室錄用，進入《睡美人》劇組。
1957年，布魯斯離開迪士尼，回憶說他覺得這部作品「有點無聊」[8]。他花了兩年半時間在阿根廷為耶穌基督後期聖徒教會傳教。回到美國後，他在卡爾弗城開了一家劇院，表演音樂劇，如《歡樂音樂妙無窮》和《音樂之聲》。[9]
布魯斯返回大學繼續讀書，在楊百翰大學獲得英語文學學位，1967年重返動畫行業，並加入Filmation[9]。1971年，他以動畫實習生的身份全職回到迪士尼。他負責的第一個項目是《羅賓漢》[10]。在製作《救難小英雄》時，布魯斯升職為動畫導演。
在製作《狐狸與獵狗》時，他和公司管理層就製片權力問題發生衝突。1979年42歲生日時，他和加里·戈德曼、約翰·波默羅伊等人宣布退出迪士尼，成立自己的工作室（Don Bluth Productions）[11][12]。
