里士滿 (昆士蘭州)

里士滿（英語：Richmond）是澳大利亞昆士蘭州西部里奇蒙郡的一個城鎮與地區，也是里奇蒙郡政府所在地[2][3]。2011年人口普查結果顯示里士滿共有522人[1]。

里士滿東距湯斯維爾498公里（309英里），西去伊薩山406公里（252英里）。有弗林德斯公路、大北方鐵路（英語：Great Northern Railway (Mt Isa line)）途經此處，幾乎平行地向東延伸。在該地區東部邊界處有另一座火車站——摩澤爾火車站，以旖旎的田園風光而知名。於1870年代由一位牧民以法國東部的摩澤爾河命名[4][5]。此外還有弗林德斯河（英語：Flinders River）沿東西方向流經該地區[4]。

探險家路德維希·萊卡特（英語：Ludwig Leichhardt）最早於1862年3月13日在此建立營地[6]。

起初該地被稱為里士滿唐斯[7]。1880年，於北邊的伍爾加（英語：Woolgar, Queensland）發現黃金，里士滿開始成為前往伍爾加的重要中轉站[8]。1882年12月9日，測繪員約瑟夫·哈格里夫斯對此進行了測繪，1883年4月，城鎮出售了大量土地[9]。1899年5月，此地改稱里士滿[2]。

1889年5月22日，里士滿臨時學校開學，共有23名學生，1902年，改為里士滿州立學校，此時有113名學生[10][11]。大北方鐵路於1904年通往此處。該鐵路為第一條使用較便宜的道碴填充而非壓實土地的鐵路，從而降低成本，但是犧牲了車速。人們想以此將火車通往更多區域[12]。里士滿公共圖書館於1996年開設[13]。

根據2006年普查結果，里士滿人口數量為554[14]。

經濟 編輯

養牛業及養羊業為當地兩大傳統產業，但是旅遊業比重正在不斷加大。該地還是弗林德斯公路的主要樞紐。近年來，古生物學家發現了史前海洋生物化石，其中一些在里士滿展出。

基礎設施 編輯

里士滿建有公共圖書館、高爾夫球場、保齡球俱樂部、游泳設施、賽馬場、公園、遊客信息中心、以及名為Kronosaurus Korner的恐龍博物館等[8]。

公共圖書館由里奇蒙郡政府運營[16]。

里士滿州立學校由昆士蘭政府（英語：Queensland Government）設立，為男女合校，提供小學及初中教育。截至2016年，已有78名學生，10名教師以及12名其他職工，其中七人為全職工[17]。
