塔吉克族（波斯語：تاجيک‎，Tājīk；塔吉克語：Тоҷик），簡稱塔族，分為平原塔吉克人和高原塔吉克人兩部分。分佈於塔吉克、烏茲別克和阿富汗的「平原塔吉克人」有2000萬人，屬於印歐人種費爾干那短顱型與少量蒙古人種的突厥人混血，說西伊朗次語支波斯語的塔吉克語方言（有大量突厥語詞彙，與波斯語能互通），信仰伊斯蘭教遜尼派，自古以來基本從事定居農業。分佈在阿富汗、巴控克什米爾、塔吉克東部和中國新疆西部等地的「高原塔吉克人」（即中國塔吉克族），屬於高加索人種地中海類型，主要說東伊朗次語支帕米爾語諸方言，多數信仰伊斯蘭教遜尼派，少數信仰伊斯蘭教什葉派下的十二伊瑪目派或伊斯瑪儀派，歷史上一直從事高原游牧，20世紀以前經常被叫做撒爾塔人，也稱帕米爾人。帕米爾語與塔吉克語並不能互通。

歷史 編輯

塔吉克族是一個古老民族，其族源可上溯到公元前分佈於帕米爾東西操印歐語系東伊朗語族的塞種（高原塔吉克）。現主要分佈在塔吉克共和國的是平原塔吉克人。「塔吉克」是本民族的自稱（分平原塔吉克、高原塔吉克）。過去塔吉克族人以畜牧業為主，兼營農業，過着半游牧半定居的生活。數千年來，塔吉克人不斷吸收東西方文化的精華，創造了自己頗具特色的歷史與文明（分平原塔吉克、高原塔吉克）。

他們本來在河中地區佔多數，後許多部落被突厥人趕到帕米爾高原。

塔吉克民族多數信仰伊斯蘭教遜尼派（平原塔吉克），少數信仰伊斯蘭教什葉派下的十二伊瑪目派或伊斯瑪儀派（高原塔吉克）。伊斯蘭教對整個民族的思想道德、社會經濟、日常生活都有着深刻的影響。大家庭的嚴格家教是以伊斯蘭教的教義、教規為最高準則進行的。長輩們除要求後代子孫們嚴格遵守伊斯蘭教的基本信仰，尊奉《古蘭經》、聖訓，履行有關宗教功課外，還要求按伊斯蘭教的道德規範行善做好事。塔吉克族有自己的語言文字（平原塔吉克）。其中中國境內的高原塔吉克人基本上信仰什葉派，沒有文字，普遍使用維吾爾文。塔吉克民族在河中的撒馬爾罕與布哈拉在佔多數人口，因此蘇聯把它們割讓給烏茲別克人時，塔吉克人一直高喊要取回聖地。

中華人民共和國境內的塔吉克族，其實是操伊朗語族帕米爾語支色勒庫爾語和瓦罕語的高原塔吉克人，與塔吉克的塔吉克族（平原塔吉克人）有很大區別，雙方都認為自己是塔吉克人。中國塔吉克族主要分佈在新疆維吾爾自治區西南部的塔什庫爾干塔吉克自治縣，少數散居在該縣以東的莎車、澤普、葉城、皮山等塔里木盆地西部邊緣地區，人口約為5.1萬人（2010年）
