大气结冰

大气结冰（英语：atmospheric icing）是指当与物体连结的水滴在空气中结冰。这种情形对于航空器来说非常危险，因为结冰的部分可能会改变机体表面的空气动力学，并会造成升力的降低，甚至导致坠机。

树上的大气结冰现象

并非所有的水都是在摄氏0°C（或华氏32°F）结冰。低于这个温度的液态水被称为过冷（supercooled），而正是这些过冷的水滴造成航空器的结冰问题。但低于零下20°C时却少有结冰情形，原因是在这样的温度下，云中包含的是冰的微粒，而非水滴。

大气结冰也会发生在高塔、风力机、钻油平台、船只、树木等，会和低温及水滴接触的其他物体上。
