國家檔案館大樓
國家檔案館大樓（英語：National Archives Building）是美國國家檔案和記錄管理局總部，位於華盛頓哥倫比亞特區西北區國家廣場以北，賓夕法尼亞大道700號。入口分別在憲法大道和賓夕法尼亞大道[3]。美國獨立宣言、美國憲法和人權法案的原件都收藏於此。

歷史 編輯
1926年，美國國會批准建造國家檔案局大樓[4][5]，作為美化華盛頓市中心的公共建築之一。1931年9月5日破土動工 [5]，1933年2月胡佛總統為其奠基。與其他聯邦三角的建築一樣，建築材料也是使用石灰石和花崗岩。[4]
1935年11月，尚未完成的國家檔案館大樓投入使用。1937年建築完工[5]
