月胸竄鳥屬（學名：Melanopareia）是雀形目的一個屬，分布於南美洲，傳統上被歸類為竄鳥科，但目前被歸為單獨的月胸竄鳥科（學名：Melanopareiidae）。[1][2][3]

月胸竄鳥生活在乾旱灌木叢中，通常在地面覓食，食性不甚明確，但推測它們主要以無脊椎動物為食；鳥類學家對它們的繁殖同樣知之甚少，但有少量研究表明它們是單配偶制的，雌雄共同撫養雛鳥。[4]
