吸血蝠屬
叶口蝠科的一属哺乳动物
吸血蝠屬（學名：Desmodus）為翼手目葉口蝠科吸血蝠亞科下的一屬，其他分類於同亞科的演化支包括白翼吸血蝠屬及毛腿吸血蝠屬，是以血液为生的新世界蝙蝠[1]。

維德-新維德親王於1826年前往巴西探險時發現了新種Desmodus rufus，並將該新種分類至新屬吸血蝠屬（Desmodus）下做為模式種[2][1]，然而該模式種於1810年就已經由艾蒂安·弗朗索瓦·若弗魯瓦以學名「Phyllostoma rotundus」發表[1]。
