吸血蝠属
叶口蝠科的一属哺乳动物
吸血蝠属（学名：Desmodus）为翼手目叶口蝠科吸血蝠亚科下的一属，其他分类于同亚科的演化支包括白翼吸血蝠属及毛腿吸血蝠属，是以血液为生的新世界蝙蝠[1]。

维德-新维德亲王于1826年前往巴西探险时发现了新种Desmodus rufus，并将该新种分类至新属吸血蝠属（Desmodus）下做为模式种[2][1]，然而该模式种于1810年就已经由艾蒂安·弗朗索瓦·若弗鲁瓦以学名“Phyllostoma rotundus”发表[1]。
