歷史 编辑
披市勒亩在西班牙征服智利前已有前哥倫佈時期的部落居住[6]。他們以狩獵和捕魚為生，主要居住在卡查波阿爾河和馬烏萊河沿岸[6]。在西班牙征服智利後，剩下的部落被同化到智利社會[7]。
1544年1月24日，西班牙征服者佩德羅·德·巴爾迪維亞向胡安·高梅茲·德·阿爾馬格羅授予披市勒畝的委託監護權。
