鹦鹉族
鸚形目舊世界鸚鵡科下的一個族
鹦鹉族（学名：Psittaculini，台湾作亚澳鹦鹉族）是鹦鹉目鹦鹉科鹦鹉亞科下的一个族。[1]本族下属六个属，分别为扇尾鹦鹉属、蓝腰鹦鹉属、鹦鹉属、巨嘴鹦鹉属、Geoffroyus和红胁绿鹦鹉属，共41个物种。[1][2]

命名与分类 编辑
该族是由爱尔兰动物学家尼古拉斯·艾尔沃德·维格于1825年以亚科层级的Psittaculina的名称建立，并在后续的研究中分离出一个族层级的科学分类。[1][3][4]在历史上，本族曾做为拆分前的“鹦鹉亚科”[注 1]下的一个大族存在，并包含了现今在牡丹鹦鹉亚科、超级鹦鹉族、虎斑鹦鹉亚科等下属的成员，但现已依据不同研究拆分。[1][5][6]
据2016年后的不同研究中显示，鹦鹉属及巨嘴鹦鹉属为多系群，并已自2019年起已提出重新拆分为八个属（包含重新拆分后的鹦鹉属及巨嘴鹦鹉属在内，另外建立Himalayapsitta、Nicopsitta、Belocercus、Palaeornis、Alexandrinus及Psittinus）的建议，目前已被IUCN及国际鸟盟所使用。[2][7]
