花园桥 (伦敦)
曾計劃在倫敦泰晤士河上興建的行人橋
花园桥（Garden Bridge）是曾计划要在伦敦泰晤士河上兴建的一座行人桥，但该计划以失败告终。这座桥的构想在1998年就由女演员乔安娜·拉姆利提出了，[1] 此后交由托马斯·赫斯维克设计，由伦敦交通局委任奥雅纳集团协助。[2] 预计桥上会栽种许多树木形成一个花园，此桥也因此得名。[3][4] 2013年11月1日花园桥信托（Garden Bridge Trust）成立，目的是对此桥的建筑进行监督。[1][5]

花园桥的长度大约为367米（1,204英尺）,[6] 最宽处宽约30米（98英尺）。此桥自河北岸圣殿站附近的阿伦德尔街（Arundel Street）延伸出来，[3] 在南岸中心落地。[4] 建成之后可与纽约市的高线公园、巴黎的绿荫步道相媲美。[7][8][9][10]
截至2014年7月年[update]，花园桥的预算已达到1.75亿英镑，这年5月完整的方案已经提交出来了，兰贝斯市政厅在11月批准了此方案，预计此桥将在2018年之前完工。[11][12][13] 但后来此计划因花销和维护成本太高，伦敦市长宣布不会为其买单，花园桥信托公司在2017年8月14日宣布放弃该计划[14]。这项失败的计划共花去460万镑公款[15]。
