2022年6月3日，WAKE ONE娱乐宣布Kep1er将于6月20日发行她们的第二张迷你专辑《DOUBLAST》。[1]

6月10日，《DOUBLAST》的曲目列表与《Up!》一起发布。 并宣布《Up!》为主打单曲。[2]
