民族歷史學

民族歷史學是社會歷史學中的一個分支，專門研究民族與民族人囗遷徙[1][2][3]，奧斯卡·漢德林是民族歷史學的其中一位開創者[4]，在民族史中，許多對於民族人囗遷徙的研究都是通過閱讀遷徙的移民寫給家鄉親戚的信來進行的，用於比較他們遷徙後的生活與遷徙前的生活[5]，如今還出現了一個新趨勢：將民族歷史學與其他新出現的史學相結合，如大西洋史學、勞動史學和婦女史學[6]。
