Git虛擬檔案系統
VFS for Git（全稱Virtual File System for Git）是微軟為配合、加速大型Git倉媒體櫃的使用而開發的一個虛擬檔案系統。[3][4][5]

VFS for Git原名Git Virtual File System，即Git虛擬檔案系統，縮寫GVFS，但GNOME開發者抱怨這與GNOME Virtual File System易混淆，微軟在收購GitHub後於2018年6月宣佈徵集對該軟件新名稱的想法[6]。2018年8月首次以新名稱發佈[7]。
