1982年Jindal Group并购了Piramal Steel Limited，这是一家位于马哈拉施特拉邦塔拉普尔的小型钢铁厂，并更名为Jindal Iron and Steel Company（JISCO）。[5]
1994年建立京德勒维贾亚纳加尔钢铁有限公司（Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Ltd.，縮寫 JVSL），位于卡纳塔克邦托拉納加魯。
2005年, JISCO与JVSL合并为JSW Steel Ltd.。
