金虎尾目的一科植物

叶下珠科也叫叶萝藦科,包括56约1725,分布在全世界的热带地区。

本科植物即有乔木,也有灌木草本

以前的分类法将本分到大戟科下,为一个亚科叶下珠亚科Phyllanthoideae),1998年根据基因亲缘关系分类的APG 分类法将其中非洲核果木族分出单独成立一个非洲核果木科。 2003年经过修订的APG II 分类法将其单独列为一个,放在金虎尾目中。[2]
