布蘭登·班森

布蘭登·班森（英语：Brendan Benson，1970年11月14日—，出生于密歇根州罗耶沃卡）是一個美國藝人和唱作人。目前發佈過四張獨立專輯，而且他也是The Raconteurs的主唱之一。

唱作歷史 

一個密西西比（One Mississippi）

他的處女作， 一個密西西比（One Mississippi）， 於1996年在美國的維京唱片發佈。在這張專輯裏 Jason Falkner 提供了很多支持，但因為銷量不佳，所以後來布蘭登被維京唱片公司所放棄。

拉帕爾克（Lapalco）

緊接著在2002年，他發布了這張專輯。這一次的唱片仍然沒有如預想一樣暢銷，卻也也得到了相比「一個密西西比」在各國家版本總和的三倍的銷售量。   ^{[citation needed]}

 專輯內的歌曲『Good To Me』和『Tiny Spark』分別被英國電視劇 Teachers 選作第三季和第四季的背景音樂，並且收錄到了官方專輯中。這首歌也被刻錄到了白線條樂團的單曲專輯 Seven Nation Army的B面上去。並且電影情場算死草 （Along Came Polly） 和World's Greatest Dad也使用了一部分他的歌曲用作背景音樂。^{[citation needed]}

 在布蘭登為這張專輯巡演的時候，曾駐足於英國的里丁&利茲音樂節 （Reading and Leeds Festivals）表演，並且在最後演唱了『Jet Lag』一曲。這首歌曲與其他五首單曲一起發佈在2003年拉帕爾克的再版中。

 2003年的再版中，布蘭登還發佈了歌曲『Metarie』，由後來的樂隊The Well Fed Boys演奏，這是布蘭登第一次發佈完全由其他人寫得歌曲。這意味著在過去他從未發表過非他本人撰寫的歌曲。

愛情的多選一 (The Alternative to Love)

班森在2005年的時候發佈了這張專輯，愛情的多選 一（The Alternative to Love）。並且與他新的合作樂隊The Stiff Tissues同時在美國、英國和歐洲地區進行了巡演。他以『Spit It Out』得到了英國專輯排行榜第75名的成績，同時為他賺來了一些名氣。『Cold Hands Warm Heart』和『What I'm Looking For』在多個商業節目和電視劇中出現。

健談者 (The Raconteurs)

班森的第四張專輯我熟悉的老朋友（My Old, Familiar Friend)最早在2007年的3月發表在他的個人部落格裏。 "Feel Like Taking You Home"是第一首demo，緊接著 "Forget"， "Poised And Ready" and "Go Nowhere" 也進行了網絡發表。不久之後他又發表了包括"Lesson Learned"， "Eyes On the Horizon"，和"Untitled"這些專輯。曾和他的健談者樂隊一起巡演的鍵盤手Dean Fertita，Queens of the Stone Age 和 The Dead Weather, 在這些demo裏面擔任鍵盤樂器，其餘的部分全部由班森自己完成演奏。^{[citation needed]}

你若曾正確(You Were Right) 是他第六張工作室專輯，發表於2013年11月。美國版在布蘭登自己的商標雷迪唱片(Readymade Records)下，歐洲版則在Lojinx唱片，加拿大版在 Dine Alone唱片公司。並成為了雷迪唱片的月季度最佳單曲。

雷迪唱片(Readymade Records)於2012年由兩個最初的唱作人布蘭登·班森和扬·海恩斯(Young Hines)創立。  並於2012年4月21日和4月10日在美國發表了班森的個人專輯什麼鬼世界 (What Kind Of World)和楊海恩斯的專輯還我自由(Give Me My Change)。同月的30日在英國發表。.
