狹胸菊虎屬（學名：Stenothemus）為菊虎科菊虎亞科下的一個屬，目前全球已知40餘種。成員主要分布於古北區，以喜馬拉雅區域為多樣性最高的區域。主要居住於中高海拔處，活躍於夏末至冬天。

形態描述编辑

該屬成員體態修長，爪式簡單。前胸背板近正方形，近後緣角處有一縮陷。陽莖側骨突（laterophyses）基部呈肥大球形^[1]。

生態學编辑

該屬成員主要分布於古北區，以喜馬拉雅區域為多樣性最高的區域^[2]。主要居住於中高海拔處，活躍於夏末至冬天，且在夜間有明顯趨光性^[1]。

歷史编辑

1907年，布儒瓦（Bourgeois）將原先屬於麗菊虎屬的物種中，劃為獨立的本屬，並以自己發現的哈曼氏麗菊虎（英语：Stenothemus harmandi）（Themus harmandi）作為模式種^[1]。
