鎧蠅科，又稱甲蠅科，屬於雙翅目昆蟲，共9屬115種，主要分布於亞洲與非洲。

特徵 编辑
鎧蠅科屬於中小型昆蟲，前胸背板異常發達，在腹部形成有如甲蟲翅鞘般的金屬光澤保護殼。科名來自希臘文κέλνφος，意為「盾牌」。[1]
