第38屆獨立精神獎

第38屆獨立精神獎（The 38th Independent Spirit Awards）是獨立電影（Film Independent）組織以茲獎勵2022年電影與電視劇的獎項。2022年11月22日早上7點（ET），由第37屆影后泰勒·佩姬（英语：Taylour Paige）與第34屆（英语：34th Independent Spirit Awards）最佳男配角入圍者勞爾·卡斯提洛，一同於獨立電影的YouTube頻道上公布電影類入圍名單[1]；12月13日，由艾夏·凱特·狄倫公布電視類入圍名單[2][3]。頒獎典禮預計於2023年3月4日在聖莫尼卡舉行，由哈桑·明哈吉（英语：Hasan Minhaj）主持，IMDb、獨立電影的YouTube頻道於下午2點開始轉播[4][5]。

獨立電影組織因應製作成本的上漲，修改了報名資格。自本屆起，參賽的電影預算上限從2250美元提高至3000萬美元；報名約翰·卡薩維蒂獎（英语：Independent Spirit John Cassavetes Award）的電影預算上限，則提高至100萬美元。同時，也移除演員獎的性別分類，改設立電影類最佳主、配角演出與電視類最佳主角演出，並增設電影類最佳突破演出、電視類最佳配角演出兩獎[6][7][8]。

發行商A24一共獲得24項提名，其中《媽的多重宇宙》以8項提名成為入圍大贏家；焦點影業以9項入圍居次，其中《TÁR塔爾》入圍了7項；MUBI與Momentum個別以6項與5項提名追在其後；《日麗》獲5項提名。該屆共有25個國家的作品入圍，在所有入圍者中，有51%的女性以及33%的黑人、原住民或有色人種；受提名的導演與編劇中，有64%的女性以及34%的黑人、原住民或有色人種；所有受提名的演員中，有70%的女性以及27%的黑人、原住民或有色人種。提名委員會中，有50%的女性、6%的非二元性別者、3%的跨性別者，以及61%的黑人、原住民或有色人種，還有32%的LGBTQ+人士、8%的身心障礙人士[8][9]。
