Eglise Saint-Hilaire.

Les parties les plus anciennes dateraient du XIe siècle. La nef a été refaite au XVe siècle. Le clocher date du début du XVIe siècle.

En 1492, François GAULDRY, maître maçon blésois, agrandit l'église en construisant un choeur voûté d'ogives et en prolongeant le bas-côté.

Le clocher est construit entre 1507 et 1512 par un autre maître maçon blésois, Pierre COUTANT.

Louis XIV, sollicité par la ville, ordonna que les fonds nécessaires aux travaux soient pris moitié sur sa cassette, moitié sur les biens de la paroisse. Les travaux furent réalisés vers 1700. L'église fut entièrement lambrissée en bois. (Base Mérimée)

Les chapelles, une au nord et deux au sud, furent ajoutées ou remaniées au XIXe.

The oldest parts date from the eleventh century. The nave was rebuilt in the fifteenth century. The tower dates from the early sixteenth century.

In 1492, François GAULDRY, master mason Blois, enlarged the church building a rib-vaulted choir and extending the aisle.

The tower was built between 1507 and 1512 by another master mason Blois, Pierre COUTANT.

Louis XIV, requested by the city, ordered that the funds necessary for the work to be taken half of its cassette, half of the property of the parish. The work was done around 1700. The church was entirely paneled in wood. (Base Mérimée)
