English: Comet Neowise, the 26th of July, around midnight, from the top of the "Cabaliros" submit in the Pyrenees (France). Notice the green glow of the nucleus which traces new plasma emission compared to earlier pictures. The field of view is about 10 degrees.
The picture is the addition of 100 short (3 seconds long) exposures, taken with a Nikon D3500 at 3200 ISO with a lens of 125mm of focal and aperture number of 2. The digital camera was standing on a fix small tripod forcing for alignment and derotation of each short exposure. This has been made using the open-source software IRAF and the ASTROMATIC suite.
NB: Many short exposures were photobombed by the starlink satellites and have been edited to partially remove them. Some residuals are still visible on the final picture. Some chromatic aberrations of the lens are also apparent on the bright stars.
