摘要

描述
English: Points showing locations where long-toed salamanders (Ambystoma macrodactylum) have been sighted. The point locations are mapped onto a Digital Elevation Model of western North America at one kilometer resolution. An absence of points does not mean absence of salamanders. Populations cluster along mountain valleys and are less common in the central dry-lands.
