溫斯坦於1995年3月20日出生在安大略省多倫多。她在六歲時開始她的職業演藝生涯。到了2008年，13歲的她已經在《Siblings》（2004年）[1]、《大女孩》（2005年）[2]、《Ninth Street Chronicles》（2006年）[3]、《天使不流淚》（2007年）和《多倫多故事》（2008年）等電影中出現[4]。
2006年2月，10歲的溫斯坦在《大女孩》中的表演獲得ACTRA傑出女性表演獎[5][6]，是有史以來獲得該獎項的最年輕的表演者[7]。
她也是一個多產的配音員，在許多動畫片中工作。直到她去世前的最後幾週，她還是車庫搖滾樂隊「殺手處女」的歌手和吉他手[7]。
2023年5月14日，溫斯坦在安大略省多倫多的瑪嘉烈公主癌症中心因卵巢癌而去世，年僅28歲[7][8]。在她去世之前，溫斯坦曾以非二元性別身份出櫃 [9]。
