温斯坦于1995年3月20日出生在安大略省多伦多。她在六岁时开始她的职业演艺生涯。到了2008年，13岁的她已经在《Siblings》（2004年）[1]、《大女孩》（2005年）[2]、《Ninth Street Chronicles》（2006年）[3]、《天使不流泪》（2007年）和《多伦多故事》（2008年）等电影中出现[4]。
2006年2月，10岁的温斯坦在《大女孩》中的表演获得ACTRA杰出女性表演奖[5][6]，是有史以来获得该奖项的最年轻的表演者[7]。
她也是一个多产的配音员，在许多动画片中工作。直到她去世前的最后几周，她还是车库摇滚乐队“杀手处女”的歌手和吉他手[7]。
2023年5月14日，温斯坦在安大略省多伦多的玛嘉烈公主癌症中心因卵巢癌而去世，年仅28岁[7][8]。在她去世之前，温斯坦曾以非二元性别身份出柜 [9]。
