鹃三宝鸟
鹃三宝鸟（台湾作鵑鴗，学名：Leptosomus discolor），是鹃三宝鸟目的唯一物种。[2]其种加词“discolor ”意为“异色的”。分布于马达加斯加岛和科摩罗群岛。体长40–45厘米，头大、颈粗，喙粗壮而直。雌雄异色，雄鸟北部铅灰色，腹部淡灰，雌鸟棕色，腹部具有斑点。[3]

鹃三宝鸟在其分布区内为留鸟，其栖息在密集的高大树木组成的森林中，主要以陆生无脊椎动物为食。[4] 目前记录有三个亚种：[5]
鹃三宝鸟科在分类上尚存争议，一般置于佛法僧目下，有时也独立为一目：鹃三宝鸟目（Leptosomatiformes）[2]
