吉奥凡尼·索托

吉奥凡尼·索托（英语：Geovany Soto，1983年1月20日—），为美国职棒大联盟的捕手，生涯曾效力过小熊、游骑兵、运动家、白袜与天使等队。2008年曾入选明星赛及拿下国联新人王。

芝加哥小熊 编辑

索托在2001年选秀第11轮被小熊队选中，并在2005年末登上大联盟。2007年，他在3A拿下年度MVP。在大联盟的打击率为3成89。小熊队也在季后赛让索托担任先发捕手，虽然小熊队最终没能夺冠，但随着捕手Jason Kendall的离队，索托也成为球队的未来。

2008年成为索托的生涯年，四月分他以3成41打击率，外带5轰与20分打点的成绩拿下国联单月最佳新人。[1]5月19日，他敲出生涯首发场内本垒打。[2]他也成功入选明星赛，[3]而且是先发捕手，为国联史上第一人。[4]

2013年，索托担任球队的替补捕手。6月4日，他首度担任三垒手。7月29日，他成功敲出再见本垒打。整季他出赛54场比赛，打击率为2成45，并敲出9轰与22分打点。11月5日，他又和球队签下1年305万美元的合约。加上原捕手A·J·皮尔辛斯基季末离队，索托因而成为主力捕手。[16]

2014年8月24日，游骑兵将索托交易到运动家。[19]他在运动家出赛11场比赛，打击率为2成62，并有8分打点。

2015年1月22日，索托和白袜队签下1年合约。该年他敲出9轰，打回21分打点。[20]
