詹姆斯·卡格尼
小詹姆斯·法兰西斯·卡格尼（英语：James Francis Cagney Jr.，1899年7月17日—1986年3月30日）是一位美国舞台剧和电影演员和舞蹈员，他在电影方面有着最大的影响力。毕业于史岱文森高中及哥伦比亚大学美术系。他最令人记得的演出是电影《人民公敌》（1931年）、《Taxi!》（1932年）、《一世之雄》（1938年）和《警匪喋血战》（1949年）中的多面硬汉形象。在1999年，美国电影学会把他名列在经典好莱坞电影的最伟大男明星名单中的第八名。奥逊·威尔士谈及卡格尼说“[他]可能是曾经在镜头前演出的最伟大演员”[1]，而史丹利·寇比力克认为他是有史以来最好的演员之一[2]。

卡格尼的第七部电影《人民公敌》成为这个时期最有影响力的其中一部黑帮电影。片中著名的场景是卡格尼将一个葡萄柚推向梅·克拉克的脸，而这部电影把他挤向了公众的焦点。他成为好莱坞其中一名最大的明星和华纳兄弟最大的合约。1938年，他凭《一世之雄》中饰演硬汉Rocky Sullivan而获得他的第一个提名奥斯卡最佳男主角奖。卡格尼曾经以《胜利之歌》赢得1942年奥斯卡最佳男主角奖，他也是AFI终身成就奖、肯尼迪中心荣誉奖得主。卡格尼于1961年从演戏和跳舞生涯中退休，与家人在他的农场共度时光。他在20年的退休生活后在电影《Ragtime》（1981）中演出，主要是为了帮助他从中风恢复过来。[3]
